Hannia thanks the people of Ecuador for their love!

Events and News  (where we are going and who we are helping this month):

December and May trips to Ecuador (Seniors Homeless Center and Orphanage):

"We started with a mass for Thanksgiving to our Lord... After this we went into the convent where we had secretly set up the party.   As one of the boys entered, he exclaimed 'Oh my God!!!! This is life!' as he loooked around at the many balloons on the ceiling.

We started by serving them juices and bread.  We arranged for over three hours of entertainment with Muppets, clowns, and 'Papa Noel' (as these children know Santa Claus in this country).   They were having so much fun.  We gave prizes to the many winners (they are ALL winners, of course).

I cooked Spanish rice and potato salad.  I also served them the turkey I had ordered locally.   After lunch we all swung at pinatas and then presented each child with a small pinata to take with them after the party ended.  See the photos of the rows and rows of mini pinatas that we stuffed with goodies for every beautiful child.  Then, we all had blue bubblegum ice cream.  ...and then it was picute time.  They all sat down so sweetly and many asked for a picture with me... my heart was bursting with love and excitement.  See the picture, where I have Jessica in my lap.  She is the smallest in the group of girls and Marcelo is the smallest in the boys group.  We had Christmas presents for every child. Santa called them one by one and we took pictures as they came up.

On this same trip, we arranged to meet and give love to 120 elder people...feeding them and giving each one a bag of goodies (toiletries, etc.).   Perhaps the most appreciated gift from ForeignAngels.com was a big warm blanket for each one.  I found a great sale and bargain in San Diego, CA and brought them on my flight.

Some of the elderly cried... some laughed and asked when they will see me again...I hugged them all and told them 'let's pray and see when our God allows it.'

My friends, this is the beginning of something good that we can repeat in so many places.   Through your efforts, we can deliver love to anyplace, to anyone who needs it.

Thank You for all you are doing for me... so all these things can happen.

"We gathered with the boys and set up a computer projector and screen showing the kids movie "Kungfu Panda."   The children LOVED it... We had Popcorn while watching the movie.   ...and at the end, we ordered hamburgers and sodas.  Some of these children seemed like they had never had such 'delicious' foods.

After the fun, it was clear that they needed medicines and shoes.  We provided all that while onsite.   In addition, we bought clothes for them too.   I wrapped a bag for each one...it was sort of an early Christmas in October.   I am so thankful for every dollar that has been donated to these kind children, alone in this world.  It made them so happy to see that ForeignAngels cares for them.  Thank you.  God Bless You."
